Clinic Based ABA Therapy at Formations Behavior Therapy
Therapy occurs in the clinic setting Monday-Friday 8Am – 6PM. At the clinic, we place significant emphasis on improving your child’s independence and communication skills. Each student receives one-to-one therapy from a Certified Behavior Therapist (CBT) and clinical oversight from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- The admission process into our program involves an initial intake interview followed by an assessment with our BCBA. Upon completion of the intake and assessment process, our BCBA will provide parents/guardians with a comprehensive treatment plan.
- A Certified Behavior Therapist will work one-on-one with your child to implement targets and objectives included in the treatment plan. Our CBTs receive ongoing training in direct instruction, ethics, and Applied Behavior Analysis. We are committed to making sure that our staff is highly capable.
- A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will meet with you at least one time per week to review data, discuss strategies, and troubleshoot any challenges. Our approach is very transparent and encourages a high level of parent involvement.
- Parents will receive classroom instruction from a BCBA on the principles of behavior analysis on at least a weekly basis. Parent(s) will also have the opportunity to work directly with their child in the clinic.
- We coordinate and lead a series of wrap-around meetings over the course of therapy to ensure that your child’s skills are generalized across environments.
- Each student who graduates from our program will receive a summary report which features graphs, future goals and objectives, and a series of meaningful recommendations.
- Because customer service is one of our top priorities, we will ask you to rate our performance and overall quality of care at least once every couple of months.
- We offer a follow-up consultation following your child’s exit from our program to make sure that your child continues to make progress.
